Apple Releases iTunes 10 5 1 Launches iTunes Match In The U S
Apple has just released iTunes 10.5.1. Though it doesnt seem to be available via Software updates, when you click on the Free download link on the iTunes page, it takes you to the download page where iTunes 10.5.1 is available for download. Based on iTunes 10.5.1 beta that was seeded to developers, it includes a number of performance and stability improvements for iTunes Match - one of the major features of iCloud. iTunes 10.5 that was released last month included the following new features:
- iTunes in the Cloud. iTunes now stores your music and TV purchases in iCloud and makes them available on your devices anywhere, any time, at no additional cost.
- Automatic Downloads. Purchase music from any device or computer and automatically download a copy to your Mac and iOS devices.
- Download Previous Purchases. Download your past music, TV, app, and book purchases again, at no additional cost. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they are no longer on the iTunes Store.
- Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5.
- Wi-Fi Syncing. Automatically sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes any time they’re both on the same Wi-Fi network.

Update: It looks like Apple has also launched iTunes Match service in the U.S.iTunes Match is a new service that Apple had unveiled along with iOS 5 and iCloud at the WWDC 2011 Keynote address in June. It allows users to store their entire music collection (up to 25,000 songs), including songs that theyve ripped from CDs or purchased from anywhere else in iCloud. Heres how it works: iTunes determines which songs in your collection are available in the iTunes Store. Any music with a match is automatically added to your iCloud library for you to listen to anytime, on any device. Since there are more than 18 million songs in the iTunes Store, most of your music is probably already in iCloud. All you have to upload is what iTunes can’t match. Which is much faster than starting from scratch. And all the music iTunes matches plays back at 256-Kbps iTunes Plus quality — even if your original copy was of lower quality. It costs $24.99 per year. iTunes Match will initially available only in the U.S. and expected to be available in other countries sometime later. Apple was initially expected to launch iTunes Match service along with the launch of iCloud and iOS 5, but has delayed it to fix the outstanding bugs.

Apple Releases iTune 10.5.1 With iTunes Match to the Public
Apple has officially released iTunes 10.5.1 to the public following several developer betas. iTunes Match has been in the final testing stages for months, and beta 3 of the cloud music service was seeded to developers over the weekend.
Alongside iTunes 10.5.1, Apple is finally releasing iTunes Match to the US public today after a two week delay. It’s finally here…
The new iTunes is also available on Apple’s website, and the 10.5.1 is propagating in Software Update for Mac and Windows users. iTunes 10.5.1 is required to use iTunes Match, and iOS 5 users will be able to access their tracks in the cloud once the service is enabled in iTunes
Neither iTunes 10.5.1 nor iTunes Match seem to be available for everyone yet, as Apple is still rolling things out. If you can’t get the new iTunes in Software Update, we recommend downloading it directly from Apple’s website.

Apple also confirmed the availability of iTunes Match in the U.S., with the following announcement on their iTunes page. iTunes Match syncs users’ music to iCloud for $24.99 a year. Unlimited songs can be synced and doesn’t affect iCloud storage, but only songs that are available on iTunes can be synced.
Even though it is available to the public, Apple is still labeling iTunes Match as a beta product. Developers who tested Match will still receive a free three months with a year subscription.

With just a few days until Apples big event, were at the height of rumor season. Will there be a budget version of the iPhone announced? Most likely. Could the next-generation iPhone come with a fingerprint scanner? Eh, maybe.
We wont know what Tuesday will bring for sure, but in the meantime, heres a look at the biggest rumors making the rounds online:
Rumor 1: The Name
Rumor: The next-generation iPhone will be called the 5S.
Plausibility: If anything is a shoe-in, its that the next-generation iPhone will debut. Weve seen many pictures and videos of the model hit the web, and assuming those are authentic, we already know a good chunk of what to expect. The name itself, though, is still up in the air (it could be called the iPhone 6). Then again, packaging for Apples rumored budget iPhone 5C has been spotted, so were expecting it to stay in the 5 family for now.

Rumor 2: Larger Display
Rumor: The iPhones 4.8-inch display will grow to 6 inches.
Plausibility: This would make the device noticeably larger, but its unlikely a 6-inch display would be unveiled at the event. Leaked photos show that the rumored iPhone 5S exterior looks the same as its predecessor. They also show that the speakers, Lightning port and headphone jack are all in the same place.

Rumor: The new iPhones processor will be more powerful than its predecessor.
Plausibility: Major changes to the iPhone will likely happen under its hood. Apple is rumored to be ramping up the devices A6X processor, while slimming down its form factor. There are reports that the new iPhone will have an A7 chip that runs 31% faster than the chip in the iPhone 5. This seems likely, especially since the devices launchboard has been seen moved slightly to the right, which would leave room for an enhanced battery. Rumor: Apple will launch a low-cost iPhone 5C smartphone alongside the 5S.
Plausibility: Tons of pictures have already leaked for the iPhone 5C. If the smartphones rumored budget version debuts on Tuesday with the 5S, it would be the first time Apple has unveiled two separate iPhone devices at once. The low-cost iPhone could help reposition Apple in the smartphone market, as Samsung continues to lead the way with Googles Android mobile operating system.
Many believe the "C" in iPhone 5C is a nod to China, especially since Apple is holding another event in the worlds most populous country on Tuesday, just hours after the one at its Cupertino, Calif. headquarters. Naturally, the cheaper device would be targeted at Chinas mobile market. The iPhone 5C will reportedly have a plastic backing, which would make it a lot cheaper to manufacture.

Rumor: Apple TV will get a refresh on Tuesday. A new product related to Apple TV may also launch.
Plausibility: This is a tossup. According to a blog post from trade intelligence platform Panjiva, bills that surfaced indicate a "set top box with communication function" shipped from Apples Chinese supplier. The bills were for three separate shipments, dated Aug. 11, Aug. 18 and Aug. 25. An Apple TV update will likely be on the horizon, but its unclear whether it will take place next week.

You must be thinking, is Somersby Apple Cider an apple juice or some cider beer? Ive never heard of it and am really curious about it! Plus, Carcosa Seri Negara is a beautiful place you wont feel youre in Malaysia at all. This is how Carcosa Seri Negara looks like from the outside, a picture I get from the net. Have you revised your history? Ive read about Carsosa during high school, it was build during the British times. Hahaha.
I just think that Carcosa Seri Negara has the perfect and beautiful garden atmosphere to celebrate the launch of Somersby, a fully imported premium cider from Sweden, and was presented by Carlsberg Malaysia at the media launch. As usual, Carlsberg Malaysia always come out with wonderful surprises for us. I really love their creativeness , and Ill tell you why while you read on !

Apple late last night issued iOS 4.2.2 (It’s actually 4.3, but Apple TV updates are numbered differently ) update for the current-generation Apple TV. The update specifically addresses a number of minor bugs, such as audio and video output problems experienced with some content.
Here’s the full list of fixes from Apple’s release documentation:- Audio: Addresses an issue in which audio is not output when playing some video content.As usual, you can get this update over-the-air via the settings menu on your Apple TV.
- Video playback: Addresses an issue in which video is not displayed when playing some content.
- Audio output setting: Adds an audio output setting for switching to 16-bit audio for compatibility with some TVs and AV receivers.
- Live FF/RW improvements: Improves the performance of fast-forwarding and rewinding live events.
- Movie description: Addresses an issue in which the description information is not displayed for some movies.
- YouTube video order: Addresses an issue in which YouTube subscription videos were not ordered by date.

Apple Releases iOS 4 3 3 Direct Links
Apple just released iOS 4.3.3. It’s available now in iTunes if you check for updates, and direct links to the downloads will be available shortly.
As previously reported, iOS 4.3.3 improves the way iPhones and iPads handle the location tracking database stored on-device by making is smaller and encrypted. The location database will be no longer backed up to iTunes and it will be deleted entirely when Location Services are turned off.

Apple also released iOS 4.2.8 for the Verizon iPhone. You can download it here. As for the build numbers: iOS 4.3.3 for the iPad 1 is labelled 8J3, with other iOS devices getting build 8J2. The Verizon iPhone’s iOS 4.3.3 is build 8E401.
