How to Save a PowerPoint Slide as a Transparent Image!
I am so excited to write this post because it is my 100th post on my blog and my 20th Technology Tuesday post! I never expected to write 100 posts in the five months Ive had this blog! I really do enjoy it though!
Now, onto todays post... how to save a powerpoint slide with a transparent background!
This poll was a real nail biter! I was really nervous it would end up being a tie!
Luckily, it wasnt a tie! Im really excited to blog about this fantastic idea that Mercedes over at Surfing to Success gave to me! She has a ton of technology tutorials on her blog also so you should definitely check it out!
Now, onto the tutorial!

For next weeks poll I had the hardest time picking what to add!In my linky party below, the question came up as to how you add the HTML code to your blog when someone gives it to you. Oops... I put the wrong thing on the poll! I added how to make a collage of photos in any shape. Ill add the HTML next week! Be sure to vote for next week, and in the meantime, check out my linky party!

SemiTether Jailbreak Confirmed As Working On iOS 5 0 1
Despite the fact that Apple only seeded iOS 5.0.1 to developers a matter of hours ago, the trusty Redsn0w jailbreak tool allows those testing the updated firmware to jailbreak their devices, albeit tethered.
Just last week, a Cydia package was released on BigBoss repository providing something of a "halfway house" solution between the tethered and untethered jailbreak. Known as SemiTether, it can be located and installed straight from the BigBoss repo. Once installed, you no longer have to connect your device to a computer to boot tethered, the tweak boots it. Unfortunately, though, despite a decent update and improvements, it doesn’t quite encompass the joy of untethered. After the makeshift boot of SemiTether, many key functions of the device cease to work, and you have to connect to a PC or Mac in order to restore some normality. Nonetheless, it is a step up from tethered, which, once switched off or rebooted, is essentially useless unless a computer (with Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze installed) in close proximity.
After testing it out ourselves, we are pleased to confirm that the patch is working on the updated (currently developer only) release of iOS 5.0.1.

You may remember p0sixninja speaking of the five userland exploits discovered by the Chronic Dev-Team over at MyGreatFest, which could potentially lead to the elusive untethered jailbreak for iOS 5. The iPhone
Dev-Team has teased the notion further more recently, claiming to be making good progress on a jailbreak for iOS 5 which supports the iPad 2, as well as the iPhone 4S.
Waiting for an untethered jailbreak can seem quite daunting, but it is important to remember that the developers are under no obligation, and do work hard. So no matter how eager we are, we’re going to have to wait for a little while, and hope – as the saying goes – that good things will come to us.
