What Did They Say! Wednesday! A Linky Party!

I just love all of the silly things my kids say!

My class is heading out on a field trip next week, and it reminds me about a funny story from last year!

On a field trip last year, we drove past a cemetery. One student says: "Oh no thats where all the zombies live!" To which another student replies, "No! Thats where the undertaker lives!"

They watch way too much TV!

What Did They Say! Wednesday! A Linky Party!

The things that my kids say are just hysterical! Id love to hear all the funny things your students say as well!

Isnt it the best when students admit guilt without even knowing it?!

Student: "Ms. Jessica, hes copying me!!"

Me (typical response): "Hes copying you sitting criss-cross with your hands folded?"

Student: "No. Hes spitting and making noises!"

Me: "Oh no, so youre telling me that youre spitting and making noises?"

Student: "No! He was doing it first!"

Me: "So you copied him spitting and making noises?"

Student: "No. I wasnt spitting! He was just copying me"

This went on for at least three minutes!

What Did They Say! Wednesday! A Linky Party!

I think I could write a novel with all of the funny things my kids say each week! But... since I dont know a publisher Ill do another linky party instead!

This is possibly a story that only tech geeks will appreciate, so it obviously made my day!!

In class we were reviewing words with "w" at the beginning and one student said "windows." Another student excitedly calls out: "I have Windows 7!"

I wanted to reply with "I do too and I love it so much more than I liked Vista!" I honestly dont think he would have understood that response though!
